William Garrett- During my time as a physician associate student, it was clear that all the recommended resources were aimed at medical students. When using these resources, it was extremely difficult to understand what I needed to know as a physician associate student, and what I didn’t. PA Practice was created with this in mind, so students can focus solely on learning what is required to pass examinations and develop into a competent physician associate without wasting time on gleaning the required from resources aimed at other healthcare professionals. I have studied medical science, medicine, and physician associate studies for a total of 10 years and understand what is required to comprehend the complexity of medicine while practicing effectively.

Daheen Lee- Sometimes a picture speaks a thousand words. With that in mind, I aimed to create medical illustrations that can help unravel complex medical concepts in a fun and easy-to-understand way, while making sure that they meet the learning objectives of a physician associate student. Hence, I have constructed the images carefully by creating illustrations which depict the healthy anatomy first, before developing pathological images, to mirror the way the student would build their knowledge as they go through each topic.
