8. Subscriptions can be cancelled any time by the user, but once the payment has been taken for the month it is non-refundable. For example, if you sign up to our website in September, and pay to use the website for the month of September, but wish to cancel the subscription on the 14th of September, the subscription will be cancelled immediately but the payment for September will not be refunded.

9. Each account is for the use of a single individual for their sole use. Account details must not be passed on to others. You must treat all account information as confidential information. We maintain the right to take action if an account is being used by more than one individual.

10. This website is protected by copyright, and the layout, design, functionality, and content of the website is the intellectual property of the owner. If any of the content of the website is used for any purpose other than solo personal revision, including but not limited to copying images, information, or questions from the website we maintain the right to take action.

11. The contents of this website cannot be used for commercial use unless discussed and agreed upon with the owner of the website.

12. If the website is tampered with, hacked, or compromised in any way we maintain the right to take action including claiming for damages and criminal prosecution.

13. The website may be made unavailable for a period of time to undergo maintenance, repair, or upgrade. We will attempt to resolve any issues as soon as possible. We cannot refund or extend memberships as a result of lack of website availability for any period under 24-hours. If the website is unavailable for longer than 24 hours we can extend memberships for a variable length depending on the length of time the website is unavailable, upon request by the user.

14. The website is not responsible for any lost progress. If the progress of your account is lost for whatever reason, we cannot compensate.

15. This website may make reference to external sources. We cannot accept responsibility for the accuracy of the information acquired from external sources.

16. We maintain the right to cancel your subscription at any time if we believe you are not complying with the terms and services of the website.

17. PA practice cannot take any responsibility if its servers are compromised and personal information is extracted. All payment details and payments are processed externally by stripe, and PA practice cannot take responsibility for any issues regarding payment or payment processing. Please contact stripe for any concerns.

18. PA Practice accepts no responsibility if the user’s details and progress are lost.

19. PA Practice will contact you via the email coupled to your account to provide details, including upon successful registration to the website, unsuccessful registration to the website, change of profile details, and when you forget your password. 

20. The terms and conditions of this website are constructed and governed by the law of Scotland. Proceedings for a breach of these terms and conditions can be brought forward to any country.

21. This website contains sensitive content on distressing topics, including death, suicide, and sexual abuse. Do not use this website if you are under the age of 18, or will be impacted by reading about distressing subject matter. If you have any specific concerns about subject matter, please contact us and we can confirm or deny the presence of any information which you may find upsetting. 

22. Refunds are considered on a case by case basis. Payments are one-off, and made for several month time periods, as such refunds are often not possible. Depending on how far through your membership you are. For example, you cannot request a refund 2 months into a 3 month membership. Refunds requested within 24 hours are generally accepted. There may be a cancellation charge. 

23. We retain the right to change the price of membership at any time. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause. 

24. Payments must be made in pounds sterling. 

25. At current, the website does not contain links to external websites. If this changes, it is important to note that any included links do not imply approval or liability for any damages that result from visiting an independent source. 

26. We maintain the right to bring forward legal action to any individual attempting to access this website illegally. 

27. Importantly, this website explores many serious topics, including death, the process of dying, and suicide. Users should not use this website if they may find this upsetting.
